Practice Profile

 

In 1986, a year after qualifying from The British School of Osteopathy, Alan Szmelskyj started the practice in Godmanchester and a year later moved to premises to Huntingdon. Very quickly the practice became well known and respected in the area.

 

In 1996 the practice relocated to Godmanchester and Irina Szmelskyj joined Alan in its management. As the main practice expanded, a branch practice opened in St Neots in 1998. In 2001 the Godmanchester branch moved into larger purposely adapted premises.

 

Over 15,000 patients have been treated at the practices, the majority as a result of recommendations from their friends and family. Many patients are referred to us by their doctors, consultants and other health carers.

 

We pride ourselves on providing our patients with the highest quality of holistic health care. Wherever possible, we try to use health education approaches to help each of our patients understand how to maximise their health potential in order to live their best quality of life.
