Marianne Killick BA(Hons), MSc, PGDip.Ac, MBacC

Marianne qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma in Acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture in July 2010. Prior to this in 2008 she was awarded a Certificate in Acupressure Massage from the Northern College of Acupuncture.

During her studies Marianne gained distinctions for her in-depth study into Traditional Chinese Medicine and Multiple Sclerosis and her detailed case study in relation to Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Menopause.

Marianne has spent many years working with victims of torture and trauma (in a legal capacity) and has spent time working with post-civil war communities in El Salvador, Central America. From this she now has a special interest in mental/emotional aspects of acupuncture treatment. She is also keen to pursue her interest in the use of acupuncture in the menopause and in the treatment of pregnant women.

Marianne is a keen dog walker and enthusiastic owner of her two young Labradors, Rufus and Bramble. She also enjoys Latin American literature and music and cooking.
